ComplyWise specialises in providing web-based health and safety e-learning and risk assessment programmes which are used by all sizes and types of businesses to train their staff in health and safety issues via their intranets. The programmes are supported by sophisticated software and management systems to operate over a client's network using minimal IT resources.
BSC Chairman Nina Wrightson said: "I am very pleased with the acquisition of ComplyWise as it will enable the BSC to add e-learning courses to our already comprehensive suite of health and safety programmes. While the company is presently UK-based, international companies are using the ComplyWise standard to deliver e-learning to their offices worldwide. This perfectly complements the BSC's activities in more than 50 countries and enables us to harness today's technologies to reach out globally. The more accessible that health and safety training is to workers around the world, the more lives that can be saved and accidents prevented."
