PART 1: INTRODUCTION TO THE CODE OF CONDUCT

• What is the Code of Conduct?
• What are the key principles of the Code?
• What is the legislation and who enforces it?
• Who is responsible within our organisation for ensuring the Code is followed?
• When pressure becomes stress
• The impact of stress on an organisation
• Causes of workplace stress
• The six stressors as defined by the HSE

PART 2: HOW THE CODE OF CONDUCT IS APPLIED IN PRACTICE

• Disclosures of Interest
• Outside Activities
• Relationships with Residents
• General Behaviour
• Grants and Loans
• Gifts, Entertainment, Hospitality

• Purchasing

PART 3: SCENARIOS

• An interactive section that uses case studies to illustrate where breaches of the various acts may occur.

The course concludes with a short assessment to confirm understanding, the results of which are automatically saved to a database when used with the Audit+ Management System for further analysis.

Server and browser requirements

This training program runs over a typical company Intranet or hosted website with minimum specification and do not require plug-ins such as Macromedia Flash, Shockwave or Java.
